Planning a pirate party for your kiddies? Or planning a pirate themed party for your corporate event? Or just want to celebrate “Talk-like-a-Pirate-Day” a bit early?
We created a few custom designs based on an invitation and party details a client provided. The party was for her daughter’s 3rd birthday and featured hot pink, black, and white colors in the design. We set up the cake pops on a dessert table that was decked out to look like a pirate ship-we love the attention to detail !
Check out some glamour shots of the various designs we came up with including a pirate ship, a treasure map, skull and crossbones. We also included an image of some pirate cake pops from another occasion.
Aaaaaaaarrrrrrrrgggggghhhh!!!!
Seriously, when is it “Talk like a Pirate day”?? I feel like pulling out an eye patch right now….
Ahoy, Matey! A couple of “3″s and “G”s to get the party started.
So, where’s that treasure, again?
Ahhhh, palm trees on the way to treasure…
X Marks the spot
And of course, some simple pirate cake pops (inspired by designs on the internet – per client request).
Now, off to find me treasure!! ARRRGGGHHHH
Princess Crown Cake Pops!
Planning a Royal bridal shower or baby shower or any other royally themed party? We love how these custom royal crowns turned out! They were the perfect treat for the birthday girls at this Princess party for a pair of twins. Excuse of our photography~ some of these pictures were taken during set-up and sadly we didn’t get a final shot and all photos were taken via iphone.
These Royal Crown Cake Pops are the perfect treat for all Royalty: Queens, Princesses, Duchesses, Birthday Girls, and the Bride-to-Be!
We are so excited that one of our favorite San Francisco Wedding Designers, Alicia K Designs, was recently featured on the lovely Style Me Pretty blog! And of course Style Me Pretty highlighted our cake pops as well!
This gorgeous wedding hosted at the San Francisco Design Center is a stunner! Alicia K and her team tied together industrial, rustic, and vintage details in a beautiful expression of the couples’ personalities. Studio Castillero captured some beautiful moments from the day.

For Alida and Shea’s wedding at the Ritz-Carlton this fall, we made glittery fashion (Chanel logo) and football cake pops – a little nod to both of their passions – for a gorgeous dessert table display. Photographs courtesy of Robyn and Maria at Verite Photography, be sure to check out more from this stunner of a wedding on their blog.

When Amy Nichols calls us for an event, we are always thrilled to participate. She coordinates consistently beautiful, stylish soirees and we love contributing our yummy cakepops for her fabulous dessert displays. We think photographer Jihan Cerda did a particularly phenomenal job of photographing this chic Peacock-themed baby shower and we couldn’t wait to show you the results, feast your eyes on all the glittery goodness!
Hey All! We just thought we would share some of cake pop imagery from the last holiday season as some inspiration, but we will update soon with this season’s latest designs! Some other fun designs that are not included below (our orders went so fast last year we didn’t even get pictures!) – we created rudolf the red nose reindeer cake pops, we can do santa cake pops (which will look like similar to our gnome cake pops or we can just do the santa head with the big beard), special ornaments and christmas trees. (Please excuse our pictures- we were still learning!)
Other fun themes/ideas: red and white candy cane, snow men, snow flakes, presents, gingerbread men plus we can do all kinds of Hanukah themed ones as well! BUT, we are happy to come up with new designs just for you!
Also, new holiday flavors: Chocolate Mint, Gingerbread and Brown Butter Pumpkin- YUM!
We can’t wait to hear what you have come up with !
A few weeks ago we had the amazing opportunity to partner with Kate Spade and San Francisco Modern Luxury for a fun-filled night celebrating the launch of their new Supercalifragilipstick! Poppy King, the queen of lipstick was on hand to assist customers with choosing just the right shade. Our cakepops were a bright and sweet addition to the already colorful event, see below! All images provided by San Francisco Modern Luxury.
Please head over to Done Brilliantly, the blog of Two Bright Lights for a feature on Sweet Lauren Cakes! We were thrilled when this dynamic team devoted to all things weddings asked us to be one of their “Industry Insiders”! See what our owner, Lauren has to say about creating a business based on these sweet treats!
Here’s a sneak peak of some cake pop wedding favors that we did recently with MB Design and Events. The brides colors were a dark chocolate brown, kiwi green and wine red. We customized all the elements of these individual cake pop boxes including the ribbon, crinkle paper and cake pop liners. The bride and groom provided custom cards to be included in each box. Their cards had a cute message on the front and then a picture of the beautiful couple on the back. Aren’t these the perfect wedding favor?
Enjoy!
