Last Spring Rachel & Matt asked us to help design a glamorous rustic chic dessert bar for their wedding at Holman Ranch, in Carmel Valley, California. If you have never been to Holman Ranch, it is one of the most beautiful wedding backdrops we have ever seen! These ethereal snapshots were captured beautifully by Erika at This Love of Yours Photography. And a delicious dinner was presented by Culinary Eye Catering.
Rachel wanted to bring in elegant milk glass and crystal pedestals as well as mercury glass details. She chose her color details based on the gorgeous palette of pastel blushes, peach, and mint that her bridesmaids wore. And used some of these same elements throughout her design, including on the tables and during dinner.
The Marquee letters for the bride and groom added a fun touch and a bit of light to the display.
The couple requested an assortment of cake pops and pie pops for their guests.
They hoped to create a “WOW” statement with this gorgeous dessert bar. They even decided on a simple pleated ruffle cake for the traditional cake cutting.
