I am so excited to show off some of the incredible pictures from a recent wedding event, Sugar and Champagne. When Kristen from Sugar Rush Events came to me with this idea for a wedding showcase that was inspired by some of the more vintage and rustic wedding styles that we have seen- I was hooked! Kristen did such an amazing job bringing together all the most incredible up and coming wedding vendors. It was such a pleasure to meet everyone!
Kristen collaborated with Sweet Lauren Cakes as well as some of the other vendors to come up with this awesome dessert display (featured below). She worked with us even down to the last minute, adding some final tweaks to make the display just perfect.
The event itself took place in the super cute studio space owned by Maria and Robyn of Verité Boutique Photographers. You should stop by for a visit! I really look forward to seeing their official images from the event. As you can tell from some of the images in the background, they have such an eye for capturing those perfect moments.

We developed some new lovely designs for this event including a tone on tone (cream + white) cake pop with beading to give it sort of an Anthropologie feel, like the beading from a dress. We hope these cakepops remind you of something vintage, handmade with love and just gorgeous!

We were also inspired by the headbands from the new wedding line over at Anthropologie, BHLDN (pronounced “Beholden”). I just love the floral beaded headbands with lots of layers and details. I particularly like the headband with an accent flower that sits just on the side of your head. So we decided to do the same with the grey pops, adding a little bit of lustre to make them shine!
