Featured! Cake Pops in Gourmet Business Magazine
We were so excited to hear from Gourmet Business magazine that they wanted to feature our lovely cake pops on the front cover of the March edition of their magazine! And then additionally on page 27, we were pleased to find a write up about our cake pops from the Winter Fancy Food Show. Woot!
Check out the magazine HERE. HUGE “Thank you!” to Michelle Walker of Michelle Walker Photography for providing the gorgeous photo for the cover. Yay!
Cowboy Cake Pops!
We’ve channeled our inner cowgirl to create these adorable Western-themed cake pops for a child’s party. Yee-haw!!!
And a lovely comment from our sweet client: ”Thank you for such great service and such a wonderful product. Your pops were a HUGE hit—so many people asked for your information, which I gladly gave out!!!! Thank you!!”
We’ve been so lucky to have such wonderful and gracious clients!

Real Pirate Party~ Pirate Cake Pops!
Planning a pirate party for your kiddies? Or planning a pirate themed party for your corporate event? Or just want to celebrate “Talk-like-a-Pirate-Day” a bit early?
We created a few custom designs based on an invitation and party details a client provided. The party was for her daughter’s 3rd birthday and featured hot pink, black, and white colors in the design. We set up the cake pops on a dessert table that was decked out to look like a pirate ship-we love the attention to detail !
Check out some glamour shots of the various designs we came up with including a pirate ship, a treasure map, skull and crossbones. We also included an image of some pirate cake pops from another occasion.
Aaaaaaaarrrrrrrrgggggghhhh!!!!
Seriously, when is it “Talk like a Pirate day”?? I feel like pulling out an eye patch right now….
Ahoy, Matey! A couple of “3″s and “G”s to get the party started.
So, where’s that treasure, again?
Ahhhh, palm trees on the way to treasure…
X Marks the spot
And of course, some simple pirate cake pops (inspired by designs on the internet – per client request).
Now, off to find me treasure!! ARRRGGGHHHH
Christmas and Holiday Cake Pops!
Hey All! We just thought we would share some of cake pop imagery from the last holiday season as some inspiration, but we will update soon with this season’s latest designs! Some other fun designs that are not included below (our orders went so fast last year we didn’t even get pictures!) – we created rudolf the red nose reindeer cake pops, we can do santa cake pops (which will look like similar to our gnome cake pops or we can just do the santa head with the big beard), special ornaments and christmas trees. (Please excuse our pictures- we were still learning!)
Other fun themes/ideas: red and white candy cane, snow men, snow flakes, presents, gingerbread men plus we can do all kinds of Hanukah themed ones as well! BUT, we are happy to come up with new designs just for you!
Also, new holiday flavors: Chocolate Mint, Gingerbread and Brown Butter Pumpkin- YUM!
We can’t wait to hear what you have come up with !
Cakepops Featured in a Halloween Inspired Wedding Shoot!
Halloween is one of our favorite holidays over at Sweet Lauren Cakes! This year we had so much fun creating ghosts, mummies, bats, black cats, spider web designs, and even witches hats! Our designs were part of a recent photo shoot designed by Kimberly of LVL Weddings & Events and photographed by Jennifer over at A Girl and a Camera Photography. Style Unveiled featured the spooky wedding inspiration shoot on their blog and we think our apples and pumpkins would make a great addition to Thanksgiving tables as well!
Sneak Peak of Cake Pop Wedding Favors
Here’s a sneak peak of some cake pop wedding favors that we did recently with MB Design and Events. The brides colors were a dark chocolate brown, kiwi green and wine red. We customized all the elements of these individual cake pop boxes including the ribbon, crinkle paper and cake pop liners. The bride and groom provided custom cards to be included in each box. Their cards had a cute message on the front and then a picture of the beautiful couple on the back. Aren’t these the perfect wedding favor?

Sea Themed Cake Pops
Hello All! Check out these adorable Sea Themed Cake Pops! These cake pops were custom designed for the theme of a child’s birthday party!
Red Cross Cake Pops
Hello All! Finally, some more posts on the way. Starting with the Red Cross! We recently became involved with the Red Cross and helped in their fundraising efforts through their big Gala Event in early May.
For the event, we had a special stand made so that we could create this awesome display! The stand itself breaks down to 4 separate squares which can hold up to 111 pops each. We created the visual of the Red Cross with some tone on tone red and white drizzled cake pops. Do you like how it turned out? We do!
